Grateful thanks to the esteemed benefactor "Warm Sun 1314" from the Silver Alliance for the generous reward.
Just after finishing my haircut, I opened my phone and saw a notification from the “Writer’s Assistant” app: a generous patron had gifted one million Qidian coins to the character Ying Zheng.
At first, I was stunned—my immediate reaction was, “Wow, someone actually rewarded this story I wrote with such a huge amount?” Then came a wave of happiness.
That joy stemmed from a sense of validation, although I suspected that the patron, known as Warm Sun, might not be rewarding me for the writing itself, but rather for the figure of the First Emperor.
Soon after, overwhelming anxiety set in. Would I be able to write well enough going forward? Could I satisfy the esteemed readers?
Considering this is my first time writing historical fiction, and acknowledging many flaws and issues already present in the story, my fears only deepened.
I consider my work quite ordinary—a typical historical time-travel narrative where the protagonist treads a path well-worn by many others.
It hardly seems worthy of such lavish patronage.
Once again, my heartfelt thanks to the generous Warm Sun 1314 for the reward. I owe you extra chapters as thanks, but since the book is not yet officially published and my backlog is insufficient, I will make it up to you with ten bonus chapters once it goes live.
Please accept my sincere apologies.
I type slowly; even when writing informative content, I manage only about a thousand words an hour. Lacking natural talent, I can only do my best.
Thank you, Warm Sun 1314, and all the esteemed readers!
Wishing you all happiness and eternal vitality!
Thank you all for your support!
The “Designer of the Qin Empire” is deeply grateful to the generous Warm Sun 1314 and the Silver Alliance for their patronage.
The manuscript is currently being typed by hand—please wait a moment.
