As soon as Mo Yu entered the space, a brown object hurtled toward her. She didn’t need to guess what it was.

Sigh, here we go again.

Mo Yu sidestepped deftly, and the brown “stone” barely grazed her abdomen before flying off into the distance.

The stone: ...Σ(っ°Д°;)っ It’s gone...

But to her surprise, this little stone seemed stronger than the last time she saw it—it could actually stop mid-flight and reverse course!

Seeing it about to collide with her, Mo Yu didn’t dodge this time. After all, it was time to have a proper conversation with this stone. She thought to herself: It’s not right for this stone to occupy her space and keep attacking its owner. She might as well find out what it really is.

She planted her legs firmly, her stance steady on the ground. Her palms faced outward, fingers spread, hands forming an oval shape with enough space between them for the “stone” to pass through.

The “stone,” as if under some control, really did fly toward her palms.

“Ka—”

Just as the “stone” neared her face, Mo Yu’s hands swiftly closed in, catching it perfectly at its “waist.” Her hands were small and delicate, yet she held the stone, which was several times larger than her palms, securely.

She watched the massive “stone” wriggle and struggle in her grasp, curiosity prompting her to shake it vigorously and even press her ear to it, listening closely.

To her disappointment, there was no sound of liquid sloshing inside—like egg whites—but rather the thud of a solid object. Just from the sound, Mo Yu could imagine the unknown little creature tumbling about inside its “egg.”

When she felt that was enough, she mercifully stopped.

Aligning the top of the egg with her eyes, Mo Yu softly and deliberately spoke, “Tell me who you are.”

Her voice was gentle, carried away by the sea breeze, yet it sent a chill through the stone.

Sensing its tremble, Mo Yu’s lips curled into a meaningful smile.

“Don’t play dead,” she paused, “I know you can understand me.”

The trembling intensified in her hands.

Without warning, Mo Yu released her grip, and the little thing shot away without a second thought. Mo Yu immediately pursued it.

———

Once again, it was the cliff where Mo Yu had fallen into the water last time. The little creature flew straight down, and Mo Yu, without hesitation, leapt after it.

Human and creature alike swam desperately toward the shore.

Breaking through the blue surface, Mo Yu exhaled sharply, only to freeze in astonishment.

This place was extraordinary!

Last time, when she fell into the water, Mo Yu hadn’t properly explored the shore. Compared to the castle atop the cliff, which was like a false fairy tale, this was truly a space!

From the start, Mo Yu had wondered why the space was so luxurious yet so “useless.” Now she realized it was merely an illusion.

She laughed from the heart, then plunged into the dense forest.

The little creature had vanished, so she could only rely on her instincts to search.

The trees around her were thick and tall, their bark smooth and elastic—not rough like ordinary trees, reminiscent of the material from that “secret chamber.” Truly wondrous!

She was like a curious child, exploring joyfully all the way.

Suddenly, amidst a dense thicket, a barren patch appeared. The ground was bare—no colorful flowers as she’d seen along her path—only a single green plant stood alone at the center.

The serrated green plant's leaves were enormous, about a meter long, radiating outward from the base. Each leaf drooped naturally, concealing the roots within, forming a large green bundle from the outside.

Mo Yu slowed her steps, moving forward cautiously. She had a hunch the little creature was inside.

The serrated leaves looked razor-sharp. She dared not touch them directly but drew her ever-present sharp dagger from her shoe, aiming to probe the plant’s tip.

“Clang—”

The dagger barely touched the leaf before it was sliced clean in half. Mo Yu was taken aback.

Her dagger broken, Mo Yu, without other means, refused to give up. Weighing her options, she decided to try with her own hands.

Slowly, she reached out, approaching cautiously—truly a bit afraid, considering how even the sharp dagger had failed, let alone her own flesh.

As she was about to touch it, Mo Yu sensed a faint resistance, as if a protective membrane shielded the plant.

She focused, closed her eyes, found a point by feel, and pressed with her hand. She passed through effortlessly!

Opening her eyes, Mo Yu saw her hand had pierced through the layers of serrated leaves.

So this plant was an illusion too!

Mo Yu probed further with her hand; the center was empty—nothing inside! The plant was merely a protective shell.

Such marvels naturally stoked her immense curiosity.

Slowly, she allowed herself to be “swallowed” by the protective shell.

Once Mo Yu entered, the barren ground was soon covered by a sea of flowers, and tender shoots grew into towering trees in the blink of an eye, replicating the scenery she’d walked through earlier!

———

Outside the space.

Qing Xuan stared blankly at the green brain core in his left palm.

This was the first brain core the two of them had found together—the one he’d always cherished and never eaten.

“Your Highness, please eat it.”

“Your Highness, don’t hesitate. It’s good for your health, and...”

Qing Xuan snapped back to himself, casting a cold glance at the two aliens bowing respectfully.

“Shut up.” His voice was as cold as a blade, instantly silencing the two aliens, who trembled uncontrollably.

Qing Xuan returned his gaze to the brain core in his palm, eyes as gentle as flowing water, a roomful of laughter spilling out.

The two aliens exchanged puzzled looks.

Alien One: What’s wrong with His Highness?

Alien Two: No idea. But I’ve made a new discovery.

Alien One: What?

Alien Two: You’re getting uglier.

Alien One: ... (turns away proudly)

Alien Two: Oh no, hubby’s angry... No meat for me tonight...

Alien Two sent a mental message to Alien One: “Just kidding, you’re the most beautiful~”

Alien One: “Hmph.”

Alien Two rummaged for Earthly adjectives and coaxed further: “Your beauty rivals that of a blooming chrysanthemum!”

Alien One: “Mm.”

Alien Two: “Your figure is fuller than the strongest hippo.”

A blush crept across Alien One’s face: “Mm~”

Alien Two: “Your bottom is tastier and more elastic than pork!”

Alien One’s face turned completely red: “You’re so naughty~”
