Liu Feng and his two companions arrived at the place where the crowd had gathered.

Many people had already formed teams and ventured into the woods to hunt the Black Wind Wolves. Others were still unteamed, searching for reliable partners.

As Liu Feng and his friends approached, some people walked over, eager to invite them into their groups.

"Brother, join our team. We're strong, and I guarantee we'll achieve great results hunting Black Wind Wolves," said a slight young man, stepping forward to address the trio.

"Brother, you'd better join us. We're even stronger, and we have beautiful female teammates. Miss this chance, and you won't find better companions," chimed in another boy of average stature.

Several others extended invitations as well, having witnessed Liu Feng's duel with Zhao Xing and the others and seen his impressive abilities.

Watching their enthusiastic offers, Liu Feng couldn't help but sigh inwardly, "Indeed, strength is the ultimate truth wherever you go."

"Liu Feng, thanks to you, we’re finally being invited to join teams," Li Feng joked, patting his shoulder.

"We should look for dependable teammates; that's the safest approach," Wang Yun said with seriousness.

Liu Feng politely declined each invitation, expressing his gratitude. The three were searching for trustworthy allies.

Then, Liu Feng and his friends all looked toward a group that had previously invited them. This team had already gathered seven members.

Seeing Liu Feng's trio approach, they welcomed them warmly. "Brothers, welcome to our team," a tall young man said.

The tall youth continued, "I am Li Ying, the captain of this team."

The other six members came forward.

A girl in white, with stunning features, spoke, "My name is Zhao Yueqiu."

The remaining five, all young men, introduced themselves in turn.

"Liu Feng," "Li Feng," "Wang Yun," the three also gave their names.

Li Ying declared, "All right, our team is complete. We can go hunt the Black Wind Wolves now."

The beautiful Zhao Yueqiu cautioned, "Once we enter the woods, everyone must stay close to the team. Don't stray too far, or you risk being picked off by the wolves."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Li Ying waved his hand, and the group followed him toward the Black Wind Wolves’ lair.

Upon entering the forest, Liu Feng noticed the trees were towering, many so thick that a single person couldn't wrap their arms around them. Clearly, they had grown for many years.

There were also many scattered stones, lying haphazardly on the hard, yellow earth.

The group moved forward cautiously, keeping close together.

After walking about three miles deeper, they heard shouting and the howls of wolves.

Liu Feng and the others quickly ran toward the sounds, covering about five hundred meters before entering a clearing.

There they saw numerous Black Wind Wolves. Their bodies were pitch black, their fur gleaming, resembling ordinary wolves but much larger, with two enormous fangs protruding from their jaws, shining with a chilling light that struck fear.

The wolves were attacking a group of ten people, who had all suffered varying degrees of injury.

Some had torn clothing and deep claw marks, others' arms were bleeding, and some had wounded legs that slowed their movements.

Seeing new arrivals, the embattled group's spirits revived.

Liu Feng charged at a Black Wind Wolf, unleashing a Rift Slash. Fine blades of light appeared, slicing toward the wolf.

The wolf dug its claws into the ground, rushing forward. As it drew close, it raised a forepaw, shaped like an iron hook, striking at the incoming blades.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The wolf's paw moved rapidly, creating afterimages and shredding the blades.

Seeing his move countered, Liu Feng wasted no time. He swung his fists like iron hammers, sending booming shockwaves through the air, aiming at the wolf's head.

The wolf’s body twisted like the wind, dodging unpredictably, causing Liu Feng’s fists to miss.

It leapt swiftly into the air, both forepaws outstretched like sharp iron spikes, swiping at Liu Feng's face.

Liu Feng didn’t evade. His fists shot up, generating a powerful gust that collided with the wolf’s paws.

Claws and fists met with a screech, like metal striking metal.

The wolf staggered back, its body trembling.

Liu Feng pressed forward, his fists raining down on the wolf’s head.

Bang! The wolf’s head was struck, forcing it backward, its limbs unsteady.

Seizing the opportunity, Liu Feng slipped to the wolf’s side and kicked hard. The air exploded with a crack, his foot landing squarely on the wolf’s waist.

The wolf was sent flying more than five meters, crashing to the ground, blood spraying from its mouth. After a few spasms, it lay still.

Elsewhere, Li Ying led his group into the fray.

He swung both palms, releasing a surge of power that struck a Black Wind Wolf.

The wolf didn’t dodge, opening its mouth wide, its thick fangs gleaming like steel spikes as it bit at Li Ying’s hand.

Palm and fang collided with a tremendous crash. The wolf was knocked backward.

Li Ying followed up swiftly, sweeping his leg like an iron pillar, unleashing a violent force at the wolf's abdomen.

The wolf pushed off the ground, leaping aside to avoid the powerful blow. It spun back, striking at Li Ying’s leg with its paw.

Li Ying pressed his foot down, leaping into the air to evade the wolf’s attack.

Before landing, he stomped both feet like falling boulders onto the wolf’s head.

Bang!

The wolf’s head was driven halfway into the earth.

"Awooo!"

It let out a sudden howl, jaws snapping with a terrifying gleam, biting at Li Ying’s legs.

Li Ying pushed off, his body sliding sideways. Then he swung his leg in a sweeping arc, like autumn wind scattering leaves, striking the wolf’s waist with fierce momentum.

The wolf was kicked into the air, landing heavily, blood frothing from its mouth. Its limbs twitched and then it died.

Li Feng, Wang Yun, Zhao Yueqiu, and the others each dispatched a Black Wind Wolf. The remaining wolves scattered and fled.

The besieged group was freed from danger.

They approached Liu Feng and his companions, expressing their gratitude, faces alight with relief and the sense of escaping death.

Suddenly, Liu Feng heard a sound slicing through the air behind him. Turning, he saw a sharp, cold flash speeding toward him.
