Chen Xing shouted angrily as a towering figure strode in boldly. Upon arriving before Chen Xing, he knelt deeply and respectfully, saying, “Disciple acted on his own accord; I beg my master’s punishment!” The newcomer was none other than Pangu.
Chen Xing sighed and spoke helplessly, “I deeply regret having brought great calamity upon the human race in the past, and to this day, I have yet to repay that karmic debt. Today, you have rescued the Witch Clan from disaster again, which is rather reckless. I thought you cared only for Houtu, but in the end, you intervened.”
Pangu remained silent for a long moment before saying, “I have made all arrangements. The great war of the Witch Clan will proceed as scheduled. I merely did not want them to be utterly annihilated; I left them a way out.”
Chen Xing nodded thoughtfully and said, “If that is so, then considering the Witch Clan did not take advantage of the human race’s calamity to strike, so be it.”
Rubbing his head, he lamented, “Everything’s in chaos! Completely chaotic! A headache!” Then he turned and asked, “Fatty, after this matter is settled, I want to visit another plane for a while. Are you coming?”
Zhu Feng’s eyes lit up excitedly. “Which world?”
Chen Xing chuckled, “I want to see just how lively it gets when a peerless prodigy appears in the ‘Covering Heaven’ realm.”
“Covering Heaven!” Fatty’s eyes gleamed even brighter, excitement blooming. “Ye Heizi, Wushǐ, ruthless men. Tsk tsk! The trio of extraordinary talents!”
But his excitement soon faded, his face turning grim. “I’m afraid I don’t have the chance anymore. Last time I forcibly broke my breakthrough, and if I can’t stabilize my realm soon, I might never reach the Primordial state.”
At this, Zhu Feng’s face twisted fiercely, and he gritted his teeth, counting off, “Once the Witch and Lich affairs conclude and the human race stabilizes, I will undergo a death-seclusion in the chaos realm. No breakthrough, no emergence!”
Chen Xing nodded indifferently, then smiled brightly, “Suit yourself. When the time comes, I’ll take my precious daughter along.”
His face brimmed with happiness. Lately, his beloved daughter had been very clingy, to his delight. Taking her out to play was one thing; if she wished to become the queen of all realms, he would have to agree!
What do you mean the world’s developmental path might be disrupted? Compared to his precious daughter, is that even a concern? It merely requires some time to straighten out the timeline. Chen Xing felt no pressure at all!
In the secret domain of the Demon Clan, within the Tang Valley, the ten demon princes of the clan were playing in the Fusang tree. Only the tenth prince stood lazily on a branch, staring absentmindedly beyond the valley.
Suddenly, the eldest brother flew over and asked, “Tenth brother, why aren’t you playing with everyone else? What are you daydreaming about?”

Snapping back to reality, the tenth prince looked at his elder brother with a dejected expression. “Brother, since our birth, we have only spent a hundred years in the Heavenly Court, and since then have stayed here in Tang Valley. I long to know what the outside world is really like, but there are restrictions set by Father Emperor that we cannot break through.”
The eldest brother fell silent for a long moment. Although he was the eldest among the ten, he was only born moments before the others. He too wished to see the outside world. Seeing his brother so downcast, he felt heartbroken.
Just as he pondered how to comfort him, a sudden disturbance arose beyond the boundary of the restriction.
A small demon rushed in frantically, covered in blood. By the time he reached the ten princes, he was gravely wounded, barely alive, gasping out: “Ten princes, Your Highnesses, quickly leave this place! I was sent by the Demon Emperor to lift the restriction for you. The Witch Clan has launched a surprise attack on our Heavenly Court, causing heavy casualties to our Demon Clan. I... I...” His words trailed off as he collapsed, lifeless.
The ten demon princes stared dumbfounded at the scene, with no time to ask further; the little demon was already dead before them, leaving them at a loss.
The tenth prince’s eyes flickered as he flew to the edge of the restriction and tested it. Suddenly, he shouted excitedly, “The restriction is gone! It’s really gone! He must have been sent by Father Emperor; no one else could lift Father’s restriction.”
In his heart, his father was undoubtedly the most formidable.
Curious, the other princes flew over to the tenth prince and also tested the boundary with their wings. The barrier was indeed gone. Overjoyed, they prepared to fly out and return to the Heavenly Court to investigate.
“Wait!” the eldest brother barked sternly.
The others paused, confused by his sudden command.
“Since that demon was sent by Father Emperor, what he said about the Witch Clan’s surprise attack must be true. Given our current cultivation, returning now won’t help much. Instead, before the Witch Clan’s elite return from the Heavenly Court, we should go and wipe out the remaining Witch Clan members to avenge Father!” the eldest brother said gravely.
The others’ eyes lit up at his words, and they began to chatter excitedly.
“Yes! Let’s kill all the Witch Clan members and avenge Father!”
“Exactly! This way, Father will surely look upon us differently.”
“Right! Kill them all!”
The group grew rowdy. Seeing this, the eldest brother stopped them and said, “Then let us, as Golden Crow beings, unleash the solar true fire with full force and burn the Witch Clan’s tribes to ashes!” Leading the way, he soared toward the Witch Clan.
As the demon princes flew out of the Tang Valley, the small demon’s form lying on the ground suddenly vanished. In its place appeared an old monk, a sinister smile playing on his lips as he muttered, “Don’t blame me for being ruthless. If you don’t step out, how can this great calamity of the primordial era be driven forward?” With that, his figure disappeared into the valley.
