Mo Xing’s divine consciousness space.

“Hm… why am I here again?” Mo Xing slowly opened his eyes, discovering that the familiar scene of the casino had transformed into an expanse of blue. He lay within it, sensing a surging sea above his head, and that blue soul—the Water Dragon God, Kasin—appeared before him once more.

“Long time no see, mortal,” Kasin said.

“You’ve awakened again?” Mo Xing asked.

“I’ve always been here,” responded Kasin.

“Really?” Mo Xing replied, “Right, back at the Divine Weapon Tower, Li Qingchi nearly killed me! Why didn’t you intervene and save me?”

“I thought I could erupt with hidden power like a novel protagonist in a moment of crisis and turn the tide, but I nearly died instead!”

“Hah, I don’t care to act in such situations,” Kasin paused. “I’ve calculated it—before Yan and its host arrived, you could not die.”

“Huh? What does that mean?” Mo Xing was baffled. Yan? Host?

“That’s enough. You’re still playing cards right now. It seems you’re in a bit of a mess,” said Kasin.

“I can’t help it!” Mo Xing explained. “Those two are cheating. How can I win?”

“Hah, mortal,” Kasin sneered.

Though Mo Xing couldn’t see Kasin’s expression, the chill in the air was unmistakable.

“Lend me your body. I’ll help you fight back.”

Underground casino.

“Why close your eyes?” The chubby Gulaga Silushan looked across the table at Mo Xing, puzzled by his actions.

“Hey, why aren’t you moving? You look like a meditating wooden statue,” Markus Yemeng, the skinny man, waved his hand in front of Mo Xing, but got no response.

“Hey, you can’t take more than thirty seconds to draw a card, or you’ll be counted as forfeiting—” Markus hadn’t finished his sentence before a sudden punch struck his stomach, knocking him flat onto the patterned red carpet with overwhelming force.

“What… why did he just attack?” Gulaga exclaimed in surprise. He never expected the ‘Gambling Immortal’ to possess such strength!

“You… cough!” Markus coughed up a trace of blood, his body convulsing on the floor.

“What happened?”

“Isn’t that Markus?”

“What’s going on? How did he end up on the ground?”

“Seems like that young man…”

The surrounding gamblers crowded around, curious about what had just transpired.

The young man in formal attire had a glint of blue in his eyes, a wave of coldness sweeping over the crowd, making everyone shiver instinctively.

“Do not disturb. Enjoy quietly,” Mo Xing said coldly.

Gulaga’s hand trembled as he held his cigarette, still confused.

“Card draw countdown—” The dealer system announced, like a mechanical alarm clock, emotionless and unable to sense Mo Xing’s cold aura.

“Three!”

Mo Xing tossed out a black card—yes, a black card! In Red and Black, the mainstream strategy is to collect ten black cards; discarding a black card is an unusual move. While not impossible, in a gambling match where everyone is striving for victory, abandoning a black card is tantamount to lowering one's chances of winning.

No gambler would be so reckless.

Everyone stared at him in astonishment.

“Two!” The dealer system continued.

Mo Xing threw all his cards onto the table: four blacks and six reds. Gulaga stopped his cigarette, and everyone else was dumbfounded.

What was he doing? Surrendering? Or was he about to reveal all his cards and fight openly?

“One!” The dealer system announced the last second.

Mo Xing drew a card from the pool. A golden crown was engraved upon it, glinting under the lights.

The moment seemed to freeze; the noise faded, and everyone’s expressions twisted in disbelief.

“Crown Card!” The dealer system announced.

“What?” someone exclaimed.

“A Crown Card?” another shouted in shock.

“How is that possible?”

“One percent probability!”

The Crown Card, the most powerful card in Red and Black, is exceedingly rare—on average, only one appears out of every one hundred twenty-eight cards. Whoever draws it can immediately use it and draw any ten cards from the pool.

“Sir, please draw ten cards,” the dealer system announced.

Gulaga furrowed his brow but said nothing.

“So what if you drew the Crown Card? There are far fewer black cards than red in the game. I doubt you can draw six black cards!” Markus stammered, clutching his bruised stomach.

“Oh?” Mo Xing responded coldly, reaching for the first card pool and drawing the top two cards, flipping them over.

Two black cards!

He reached for the second pool, drew two more cards, and turned them face up.

Another two black cards!

Mo Xing skipped the third pool, reached for the fourth, and drew another black card!

Now nine black cards in total—just one more for victory!

The crowd held their breath; Gulaga extinguished his cigarette.

“Five black cards!”

Mo Xing pulled five black cards from the fifth pool!

“This!” Markus was stunned.

In all his years of playing, he’d never witnessed such a scene!

“Congratulations to the blue side for successfully collecting fourteen black cards and achieving ultimate victory,” the dealer system announced.

“Incredible! Ten consecutive draws, all black cards!” someone in the crowd exclaimed.

“Fourteen black cards, never seen before!” another gambler declared.

“Same here! What a spectacle!”

“Incredible, that sums it up!”

Gulaga applauded, saying, “Well done! Truly worthy of the Gambling Immortal! It’s an honor to compete with you.”

“Whether I’m the Gambling Immortal doesn’t matter. Hurry up and hand over the three thousand gold coins!” Mo Xing smiled.

“Alright, alright.” Gulaga quickly took a large bag of coins from his storage ring, passed it through the mechanical arm for verification, and handed it to Mo Xing.

“No! Don’t give it to him!” Markus lunged forward.

“Markus? I’m a man of my word. If I lose, I pay the coins. Besides, we have to follow the rules in the casino,” Gulaga frowned.

“He… he cheated!” Markus shouted.

“System check confirms all players are operating legitimately. No cheating detected,” the dealer system announced.

“You… you dumb machine, you’re covering up his cheating!” Markus raged.

“It’s not your money, why are you so upset?” Mo Xing laughed.

“Exactly! Markus, why are you so agitated?” the crowd echoed.

“Questioning the dealer system’s judgment?”

“If you’re not convinced, challenge him to another round!”

“Yeah, ha ha ha!”

“Well? Shall we play again?” Mo Xing smiled.

“Let’s play!” Markus replied. “I’m better than most people!”

“Oh? How much?” Mo Xing asked.

“Five thousand gold coins!” Markus held up five fingers.

“Too little,” Mo Xing sneered.

“Then ten thousand!” Markus said.

“Still not enough,” Mo Xing shook his head.

“Twenty thousand! No more!” Markus raised the stakes.

“Deal!” Mo Xing agreed.

“Markus, you're betting that much? Twenty thousand gold coins—you'll have to do a lot of dirty work to earn that!”

“No worries. I won’t lose!” Markus took his seat.

“The opponent is the Gambling Immortal!” Gulaga paused. “You saw how he turned the last game around.”

“Buddy, whether he’s the Gambling Immortal or a God of Gambling, I’ll crush him all the same!” Markus snorted.

Mo Xing’s divine consciousness space.

“Hey, Kasin!” Mo Xing called out.

“Mortal, what now?” Kasin replied.

“Are you sure you can win? I can’t afford to lose twenty thousand gold coins! Your ten consecutive draws were impressive, but this is a game of luck…”

“Haha, relax. I’m the Dragon God; manipulating these little games is child’s play for me,” Kasin said.

“By the way, Captain Huo asked me to deliver the signal smoke to them—don’t forget!”

“You’re so annoying, mortal. Leave it to me,” Kasin replied. “Enough talk, I’m about to keep controlling your body to play cards.”

“Uh…” Mo Xing was momentarily speechless.

Do dragon gods really enjoy games this much?

“Gentlemen, please decide the card draw order,” the dealer system announced.

“I’ll draw first!” Markus snatched a card, his sinister face breaking into a smile—he must have drawn a black card.

“Hah, suit yourself.”

Mo Xing drew a card as well, placing it face down on the table without even looking.

More gamblers gathered, curious about the duel between the young ‘Gambling Immortal’ and the underground gambling king Markus.

Markus drew cards with a smug hum, while the ‘Gambling Immortal’ remained tranquil, each card drawn laid face down on the table, as if a magician preparing a spectacular performance.

“I’ll play first!”

Markus played a red card and drew another card from the pool, inwardly delighted to have drawn another black card!

Now he had five black cards, two reds, and three special cards. After ten rounds, victory would be his! What could this ‘Gambling Immortal’ possibly do?

Markus boasted, “I’ll finish this match in under ten rounds!”

“So arrogant!” someone shouted.

“The underground gambling king is incredible!”

“Ten rounds to defeat his opponent?”

“That’s insane!”

Amid the crowd’s praise, Mo Xing merely smiled, gently tapped the table, and the ten face-down cards flew into the air.

“Fall!” Mo Xing commanded.

The cards flipped and fell, forming a perfect cross, their patterns shocking everyone present:

Ten black cards!
