Lin Siyu was a girl, and though she was only fifteen or sixteen years old and just starting her first year of high school, she had already begun wearing a bra. Her reason was simple—not for anyone else, but in hopes of making her flat chest appear just a little fuller and more prominent. After all, no other undergarment could achieve that effect.

At this moment, she had completely misunderstood what Li Sicheng had just said about a “bad omen,” taking it instead as a reference to her bra.

Unfortunately, Li Sicheng didn’t realize the misunderstanding caused by his words. He carried on, saying, “This bad omen isn’t too serious, but it will make you uncomfortable, and could even affect your health! For the sake of Muxue, I’ll reluctantly help you dispel this bad omen!”

“What? You want to remove my bra?” Lin Siyu cried out in horror.

To be fair, the bra she was wearing today was indeed uncomfortable. In order to make her chest look more prominent, she had deliberately bought a size several times too large and stuffed things inside. Naturally, comfort was out of the question. And, as Li Sicheng had just pointed out, wearing it like this for long periods would definitely impact her health and development.

What baffled Lin Siyu was how Li Sicheng could possibly know about this. Especially since not even her own sister knew about her oversized bra. Could this guy have somehow sneaked a look at her changing clothes in the morning?

Li Sicheng, oblivious to Lin Siyu’s inner turmoil, nodded as he walked toward her. “That’s right, let me help you remove this bad omen. Don’t worry, I’m a professional. I promise to be quick and precise—no harm will come to you, and you’ll feel much more comfortable afterward! And you don’t need to thank me; I do good deeds without expecting anything in return!”

Lin Siyu’s mouth dropped open. She thought Li Sicheng was the most shameless person she’d ever met.

A professional… bra remover? Was there really such a thing as professional and amateur in this business? Ah, she finally understood—this guy wasn’t just a con artist, he was also a perverted creep!

“Afterwards”? What on earth does he mean by “afterwards”? This is outrageous and obscene! Thank him? If I don’t call the police, that’s already showing my sister some mercy! And what’s this about doing good deeds? Is he mocking me for not having a boyfriend? Is he blind? With my looks, I’m considered devastatingly attractive at school—everyone loves me, and flowers bloom for me!

Fuming, Lin Siyu nearly wanted to hit Li Sicheng. But then she remembered how he’d hoodwinked her sister, and reluctantly forced herself to hold back.

“Don’t be impulsive, whatever you do, don’t be impulsive. If I hit him, who knows what lies he’ll tell my sister about me. In the end, I’ll only end up worse off.”

After a few deep breaths, Lin Siyu finally calmed herself. Watching Li Sicheng approach step by step, a sudden panic gripped her heart. She hurried into the Mercedes, slamming the door shut.

She urged the driver to set off quickly, murmuring to herself for comfort, “Fine, let him be arrogant for a while longer. Once I find his weakness and expose his lies, I’ll deal with him properly then. As the saying goes, a gentleman’s revenge is never too late—even if it takes ten years. We women may not wait ten years, but ten days or half a month is manageable.”

The driver glanced at Lin Siyu sitting in the car, then at Li Sicheng, who was drawing closer, and hesitated. “Second Miss, Mr. Li hasn’t gotten in yet…”

“Let him in? Why not just let him straight into my bedroom? Drive! Quick, drive! Or I’ll have my sister fire you!” Lin Siyu shrieked, clearly terrified.

After a moment’s hesitation, the driver thought it best to obey Lin Siyu—after all, she was the boss’s sister. He started the Mercedes and drove out of the villa.

“Hey, why’d they leave?” Li Sicheng didn’t give chase but stopped in his tracks. Frowning in mild confusion, he muttered, “Are people braver these days, or what? Last time, someone insisted on rushing forward despite being warned about a disaster. Now this girl is completely unconcerned about the bad omen looming over her… I really don’t understand what they’re thinking.”

He turned on his heel and headed for his electric scooter. Unlocking it, he set off from the British Garden Villas.

No one had told him where Nanshan High School was, but that hardly mattered. He didn’t bother with the navigation app on his phone either. Instead, he stopped, squinted up at the sky, and observed quietly.

Minutes ticked by. Passersby eyed him curiously, wondering what he was looking at. But apart from the rising morning sun, there was nothing unusual in the sky.

“Alright, I know where it is now.” After a few more minutes, Li Sicheng lowered his gaze, got on his scooter, and sped off.

Surprisingly, he didn’t lose his way. After weaving through the city, he really did arrive at Nanshan High School.

It was the morning rush hour and the school gate was teeming with students, boys and girls full of youthful energy, laughing and chatting as they streamed into campus.

Li Sicheng parked his scooter in the student parking lot by the gate. He didn’t rush in, but stood observing his surroundings.

After a moment, he nodded in satisfaction. “This is indeed a wonderful place—a perfect spot for nurturing life.”

He strode toward the entrance. Just as he reached the gate, but before entering, a harsh roar erupted nearby: “Who allowed you to have long hair? Don’t you remember the school rules? Boys can’t have hair over their ears, girls’ hair can’t go past their shoulders! Look at yours, it’s already over your shoulders by almost a finger’s width! Cut it—immediately! Otherwise, you can’t enter the school! And what’s that in your hair? A hair clip? Fine, you can wear a hair clip, but it has to be the plainest kind. Yours is all colorful and gaudy—completely inappropriate for a student!”

At the sound of that tirade, students all around shrank back, fearful of getting caught in the crossfire.

A bespectacled girl was standing with her head bowed, sobbing quietly. In front of her stood a man of about fifty, his hair thinning noticeably.

The man stood with hands on hips, eyes bulging as he berated the girl relentlessly, showing not a shred of sympathy. He seemed utterly unconcerned about damaging her self-esteem or leaving any psychological scars.

“At your age, you should know better than to dress up so garishly. If you keep this up, what’ll you become when you enter society? The kind of girl who only courts trouble!”

Worked up, he snatched the hair clip from the girl’s head and threw it toward a trash can on campus. Unfortunately, his aim was off and the clip bounced twice before landing on the shady path.

“Who is that?” Li Sicheng asked a passing student.

“Who else? That’s Mr. Ma, the Dean of Discipline. He has a terrible temper. Don’t talk about him, don’t even look at him, or he’ll punish you too!” The student answered hurriedly, then dashed into the school, clearly afraid of being implicated.

Others feared Ma Kang, but Li Sicheng did not.

Instead of avoiding him, he walked right up to Ma Kang and said, “Director Ma, that’s enough. You should show some compassion. Can’t you see you’ve made her cry?”
