Li Sichen walked up to the two firefighters and urged them, "Are you two alright? Get up quickly and follow closely behind me. Mimic my every move and do not wander off!"

Wander off?

Hearing these words, Fang Yi was immediately displeased. He wanted to retort that they were the professional firefighters and that Li Sichen should be listening to them, but the words died in his throat.

They had already avoided danger twice thanks to Li Sichen’s warnings. He no longer had the pride to act tough in front of him.

He glanced at Li Sichen, then looked down at his own firefighter uniform. A sudden sense of bewilderment washed over him: Who on earth was the professional here?

Ouyang Long scrambled up from the ground, hesitated for a moment, and asked, "Are you certain there is still someone trapped in this raging fire?"

After being saved by Li Sichen twice in a row, he began to trust the boy’s words. After all, accurately predicting danger twice in succession was a feat only the most seasoned veteran firefighters could pull off—even Ouyang Long and Fang Yi were incapable of it. How could someone with such extraordinary ability be mentally unstable? Why would they risk their lives for a prank?

"I am certain," Li Sichen replied.

Ouyang Long nodded firmly and made a decision: "Very well! From now on, I will cooperate with you fully and follow your lead!"

Fang Yi was stunned. "Are you serious, Captain Ouyang? Even if this kid is crazy, why are you following him into madness?"

Ouyang Long answered, "I believe we should trust him. What if there really is someone trapped in this inferno?"

"You're gambling with your own life!" Fang Yi countered.

"If it’s to save a life, what’s the harm in a gamble?" Ouyang Long smiled, then added, "Fang Yi, you don't need to follow us any further. Head back out. As you said, this is a gamble, and I cannot ask you to risk your life alongside us."

With that, Ouyang Long followed closely behind Li Sichen, sprinting into the depths of the fire.

Fang Yi stood there, stunned for a few seconds, before gritting his teeth and chasing after them. "If you two are willing to risk your lives to save others, I’m no coward either! But kid, you’d better not be lying to us. Otherwise, even as a ghost, I won’t let you off!"

Li Sichen paid no mind to the threat; he was certain that someone was indeed trapped within the flames.

The three of them raced through the fire. The roaring inferno not only scorched their faces and singed their hair, but the heat seared their very bodies with pain. Yet, they remained undaunted.

As they ran, Li Sichen suddenly shouted, "Jump to the left!"

Ouyang Long and Fang Yi did not have time to think; they immediately leaped to the left.

*Boom!*

The moment they moved, a wooden beam collapsed under the flames. Had they not followed Li Sichen, it would have crushed them.

Another prediction of danger! This was the third time in a row. The success rate was terrifyingly high.

Before Ouyang Long and Fang Yi could recover from their shock, Li Sichen called out again, "Get down!"

They had barely hit the floor when a wave of scorching fire roared over their heads.

In the time that followed, Li Sichen continued to issue commands: "Roll to the right... crouch to the left... crawl forward... retreat..."

Every command Li Sichen gave avoided danger with pinpoint precision, leaving Ouyang Long and Fang Yi dumbfounded. They could hardly believe it, even as they witnessed and experienced it firsthand. If it were only two or three times, one might call it experience, but ten, twenty times? And the count kept rising.

Beyond the words "miracle" or "inconceivable," Ouyang Long and Fang Yi could find no other way to describe it. Under Li Sichen’s guidance, their journey had been one of close calls without catastrophe.

"Captain Ouyang, have you ever heard of any experts in the national fire service who can predict danger dozens of times in a row like this kid?" Fang Yi whispered, tugging at Ouyang Long’s sleeve after narrowly avoiding another collapse.

"No," Ouyang Long shook his head. "As far as I know, while there are experts in the country who can gauge danger based on fire conditions, none can achieve dozens of consecutive accurate predictions like this. His intuition in the fire is incredibly, inexplicably powerful. Compared to him, we look like mere schoolchildren."

Ouyang Long, of course, could not know that Li Sichen’s accuracy came from his insight into the shifts of *Feng Shui* within the fire. Mastering these changes made the fire like a game he had hacked; knowing every subtle shift allowed him to make the most precise decisions.

Fang Yi was stunned. He never expected Ouyang Long to hold such a high opinion of the boy. Yet, reflecting on Li Sichen’s performance, it was hardly surprising.

Looking at Li Sichen leading the way, Fang Yi thought to himself, "I thought this kid was just messing around and wanted to curse him out. Thank goodness I didn't say it, or I would have truly humiliated myself."

Li Sichen moved quickly, and the two firefighters followed closely. Minutes later, the trio burst into a central room.

"Is someone in here?" Fang Yi asked, scanning the area.

The room was already consumed by raging flames, a sea of fire. Ouyang Long and Fang Yi looked everywhere, but could not find a soul.

"There's no one here," Fang Yi remarked. "Could they be in another room?"

Ouyang Long didn't speak, but he nodded, clearly agreeing with his subordinate.

However, Li Sichen insisted, "They are definitely here. Let’s look closer."

"This room is nothing but fire. Where could anyone be?" Fang Yi frowned. Were it not for Li Sichen’s previous displays of brilliance, he would have exploded in anger by now.

Fortunately, he didn't, or he would have been mortified. Just as he finished speaking, a rhythmic *thud-thud-thud* sound echoed, accompanied by a faint cry for help: "Help! Save me..."

Someone! There really was someone trapped in the inferno! The boy hadn't been lying or messing around; he had truly found someone. He was genuinely saving lives!

Though they had been mentally prepared for the possibility, Ouyang Long and Fang Yi were still struck with profound awe.
