All the riders in the room were dumbfounded; Hongyu was courting disaster! Yet Hongyu herself seemed oblivious to how serious things had become, still pointing her finger at Duan Feng, taunting, "Come on then, in broad daylight, under the open sky—let's see what you want to do..."

"Interesting, very interesting indeed..." Duan Feng smiled, stepping up to Hongyu and sizing her up from head to toe. "If it weren't for your pretty face, you'd already be sprawled on the ground by now..."

"Ha, what a big talker! Why don’t you show me how you’d lay me out?" Hongyu's gaze was hazy, her cheeks flushed, making her look even more alluring.

Duan Feng's grin grew wider. "Take her to the next private room. Tonight, I've got something to play with..."

At once, several burly men moved toward her.

"Don't you dare!" Hongyu shouted, "Brothers, help me!"

Surrounded by more than a dozen men, Hongyu felt secure in her backing. But not a single one of them moved; they all trembled like frightened chicks. Only Da'an showed a hint of courage. He sprang to his feet and said to Lin Qi, "Quick, call Tang Long!"

Duan Feng frowned slightly, signaling his men to halt, then glanced over. "You know Tang Long?"

Da'an puffed out his chest with pride. "Of course. This is Lin Qi—he once saved Tang Long’s life!"

All the riders turned their hopeful eyes to Lin Qi, wishing he could rescue Hongyu.

But on the sofa, Lin Qi spoke calmly, "I've already repaid that favor. He won’t help me anymore."

Da'an was desperate. "Just try! What if Tang Long agrees to help?"

Lin Qi shook his head. "No need. Our ties are severed."

The riders' faces filled with despair. Without Tang Long's assistance, it seemed impossible to get through this ordeal.

Da'an stomped his foot in frustration. "Then what good are you!"

Lin Qi replied serenely, "For something this trivial, do we really need Tang Long?"

Then, Lin Qi stood up and walked over to Duan Feng.

"Do me a favor and let this go," Lin Qi said.

Everyone stared at Lin Qi in shock.

How could Lin Qi, stripped of Tang Long’s protection, dare to speak so boldly?

Duan Feng was nearly amused by him. "And who do you think you are, to ask me to give you face—"

Before he could finish, Lin Qi suddenly threw a punch.

With a crash, Duan Feng’s body flew backward, slammed into the wall, and slid down in a heap.

"If you don't want face and insist on fists, that's your own doing," Lin Qi muttered.

"Get... get him!" Duan Feng gasped from the floor.

A group of burly men charged at Lin Qi.

Lin Qi fought with both fists and feet, the room ringing with the thuds of bodies—one after another, the men flew off like sandbags.

"Hahaha, beautiful! Lin Qi, you’re amazing!" Hongyu clapped her hands, as gleeful as a child.

But Duan Feng had more men than just these.

Suddenly, the sound of pounding footsteps filled the air as another dozen brawny men burst in.

"Brother Feng, what happened?"

"Get him... get him..." Duan Feng struggled to his feet and pointed at Lin Qi.

A new wave of attackers surged forward.

"Go on, go on, Lin Qi is invincible!" Hongyu grew more and more excited, bounding around the room.

"You, get Hongyu out of here!" Lin Qi shouted, plunging back into the fray. The scene was chaotic and violent.

The other riders hurriedly clustered around Hongyu and rushed her out.

"What are you doing? I’m not leaving! Just look at how strong Lin Qi is—now that's a real man..." Hongyu’s voice faded as she was dragged away.

Even facing over a dozen men, Lin Qi didn’t lose the upper hand. The room echoed with screams of pain.

Duan Feng was utterly stunned.

He rushed out of the private room and immediately pulled out his phone.

"Big brother, someone’s making trouble here and beat me up. Bring your men and help me, quick!"

Then he gave orders to the KTV staff.

"Lock all doors and windows—don’t let that guy escape!"

Inside the private room, after a few more minutes of fighting, the floor was strewn with groaning bodies.

"Why must things always turn out like this..." Lin Qi sighed, carefully stepping over the fallen men as he headed out.

To his surprise, the once-crowded KTV was now eerily silent—there wasn’t a soul in sight.

He checked the exits; all the doors and windows were locked from the inside.

At the main entrance, the huge metal shutter had been lowered. The windows were fitted with bars—he was effectively sealed in.

With a grunt, Lin Qi delivered a powerful kick to the shutter. The aluminum bent inwards, leaving a deep dent.

He kicked again and again, further warping the shutter. A few more strikes and he’d be out.

But just then, Duan Feng’s voice could be heard shouting outside, "Big brother! You’re finally here—the guy’s still inside!"

Hearing him call for his big brother, Lin Qi couldn’t help but laugh.

"Is that you, Black Bear?" Lin Qi called out.

A cold voice answered from outside, "Black Bear isn’t fit to carry my shoes."
